The small Colorado town of Alamosa is facing a salmonella outbreak, though what really makes this case unique is the carrier - rather than food as is typically blamed for these outbreaks, it's the city's drinking water that's suspected of carrying the bacteria! Health officials are still investigating, though tests confirmed the presence of the bacteria in the water and there are 33 confirmed cases so far (with another 46 being investigated).
