There's a petition being circulated around town to add a ballot measure in April that would impose a 1% sales tax for the sole use of paying for construction of a Recreation Center here in Woodland Park (once paid for, the sales tax would expire).  You can stop by Flutterbys & Party Bugs (110 W. Midland Ave, Suite D) or keep an eye out for one of the volunteers around town with it.  Their website is here, and they also have a Facebook page here.
