As usual, there's a myriad of activities to do as the city celebrates the 4th of July this weekend.  On the 4th, there's the usual pancake breakfast at the senior center, and the other activities at Memorial Park; this year the Woodland Park Wind Symphony will be performing in the new Midland Pavilion next to the library, starting at 6:00.  Weather permitting, fireworks will be around 9:30, launched from the high school (though hanging out near the Midland Pavilion should be a good spot to watch the fireworks as well).  Monday the 5th will feature the traditional Symphony Above the Clouds at the middle school, with gates opening at 5:00 and the symphony playing at 7:30 (prior to which, the Irish folk music group Ceol Ceili will be performing) - cannons and fireworks will wrap up that event like usual!
