The dream of a ski resort on Pikes Peak has been around, well, forever.  A couple failed attempts have come and gone on the east side of the mountain, and the recent effort to build a resort on the west side seemed to have faded away as well.  Turns out that's not the case, that west side effort has reenergized and seems to be gaining momentum.  They're turning to social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter to help build public support (click those links to get to their specific pages).  Not sure of the water and road details yet, but it'll be interesting to see if they can pull this off and get this resort built.  More at SkiPikesPeak.
